For the third consecutive year, Wessington Cryogenics have taken part in Entrepreneurial Scotland's Saltire Scholars Programme. The programme brings us three interns that will spend the summer embarking on exciting individual projects and participating in professional development opportunities, all with the support and guidance of our exceptional team.

It is with great sadness that Wessington Cryogenics inform you of the passing of its founder Mr. Eddie Rowe who died yesterday after a short illness aged 88 years.


We are thrilled to celebrate 40 years of Wessington Cryogenics!! 40 years ago, on Friday 10th February 1984, Wessington Cryogenics was established by founders Eddie Rowe and Brian Bennett Cowell, opening their first 2,500 sq ft factory shortly after.

Earlier this month, our Technical Director Paul and his wife Audrey completed the incredible trek to Everest Base Camp to raise funds for Marie Curie, where Audrey has worked for most of her career!

In commemoration of Mal’s life and love of cycling, his friends at Wessington organised a charity bike ride to remember Mal and to raise money for a cause close to the hearts of him and his family.
